A Seat Awaits is web-based seating chart software for event planners. It replaces spreadsheets, sticky-note diagrams, and generic floor-plan tools with one workspace: import your guest list, lay out your tables, assign seats, and publish a QR-code lookup link for the day of the event.
It's built for weddings, galas, conferences, school banquets, and corporate dinners — anywhere a planner needs to seat 25 to 1,000 guests and share the assignment with vendors, the venue, or the guests themselves.
The AI guest importer reads messy CSV or Excel files and detects households, plus-ones, and dietary needs automatically. Multiple planners can edit the same floor plan live, with real-time cursors and presence indicators powered by Supabase Realtime.
